This website is dedicated to all custom, camper and motorhome self builders around the UK, of which i am absolutely positive, i am not the only one, around the UK let alone the world right now, there must be several thousand, if not millions of mainstream commercial van owners looking at selfbuilding, their very own interpretation of what a weekend camper, motor home or custom, van should be....
All commercial vans from all manufacturers are able to be easily and often cheaply transformed into weekend campers, we have yet to find one that can not, yeah we know Volkswagen hold the title of most used commercial in this field with everyone of their Transporter range from day dot to now having been well used, whilst they are superbly viable to use as your base [see my build for inspiration], many others can be used to equal and sometimes better effect from the sublime to the ridiculious, take a look at our History pages for more info..
The real truth of the matter is thus, these owners i speak of above are you, me and Charlie next door, we know what we want "OURS" to both look and ultimately feel like, with full intenions to make that dream, that vision a real reality sometime really soon, with often limited knowledge, tools and/or bank balance, we shall make it happen and do you know why? the answer is simple my friends, because if we stick together through thick and thin, help each other when the going gets tough, share ideas, thoughts, plans and resources we can all come out the other end, with a camper, custom or motorhome that we can be very, very proud of having been built by both yourself and the entire community here in at SBCC-UK.
